Start from the publisher's download page

Avoid forwarded copies, random file mirrors and old installers in shared folders when an official download page is available.

The CCM Download page keeps the current version and verification values beside the installer link.

Compare the file details

On Windows, PowerShell can calculate a file's SHA-256. Compare that value, the filename and the exact byte size with the values published on the verification page.

A matching hash is evidence that the file bytes match the published file. It is not a claim that every program or installer is free from every possible security risk.

Keep Windows protection enabled

The current CCM Quantum installer is unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher message.

Do not disable SmartScreen or antivirus simply to make installation easier. If the published file details do not match, stop and contact support.

Keep the history in perspective

CCM tools organise virtual practice and recorded roulette information. Historical counts, gaps, streaks and labels describe the selected record; they do not change the mathematics of an independent fair spin.
