A gap is a historical counter

If a number was last recorded 24 accepted results ago, its current gap is 24 in that retained history. The counter increases as accepted results arrive until the number appears again, then resets.

CCM's Number Inspector exposes that measurement beside the current sample. It is useful for describing recency, not for deciding that a result has become due.

Long gaps can happen without anything being wrong

Independent random sequences naturally contain clusters, repeats and long absences. A number can stay missing for much longer than its average spacing without becoming mathematically due.

The average is a long-run description, not a schedule the wheel follows spin by spin.

Prefer 'gap' when precision matters

A neutral label such as 'current gap' states exactly what has been measured.

If an interface uses 'overdue', check the underlying number and sample window rather than assuming the label indicates an increased chance on the next spin.

Inspect a current gap without turning it into a due-number claim.

CCM's Number Inspector reports gap information from the accepted retained history. The counter describes how many accepted results have passed since the selected number last appeared in that record.

A large value can be historically interesting, but it does not add positions to the wheel or increase that number's probability on the next fair spin.

Keep the history in perspective

CCM tools organise virtual practice and recorded roulette information. Historical counts, gaps, streaks and labels describe the selected record; they do not change the mathematics of an independent fair spin.
